Cozy and clean. I got a Michigan apple omelette with fried potatoes and toast. The omelette has chicken in it, but that is not mentioned on the menu, and cheese. The apple pieces were pretty large and very firm/crunchy. There wasn't much cheese inside, but you could see it on the outside. It was very fluffy and quite large! The potatoes were not very warm and somewhat browned. Neither item had any seasoning to it.
My server was quiet and didn't do any touch back after food was delivered. I needed napkins since I had gotten jelly on my fingers. Once I was done with my meal, I went to the restroom to wash my hands since my server had still never came back to the table. She passed me numerous times on her way to other tables. Eventually she came by and asked if I needed a box. I said yes and several minutes later she brought the box and check. I am undecided if I will return. I love going places that aren't chains, so this was disappointing.
As a last minute thought, the coffee was good.

I eat it this establishment at least once a week and I'm usually pretty happy but today the service was terrible. I go in as a single person and they usually sent me in a booth but this time I got set at a tiny little table near the window. Took the waitress forever to come and get my order and there was no staff to even bring me some water like they usually do. And then it took her forever to check back on me. There was no catch up or salt and pepper at the little tables so I had to go and get it from another table myself because the waitress was nowhere around. This is establishment should have ketchup and salt and pepper at every table. And then when she checked on me again I was just about finished so I asked for my bill and she said she'd have to go get it. When she brought it back she slapped it on the table and didn't even thank me for coming in today. So I left her about a 5% tip to let her know that she needs to do better.

This place gets super busy so make sure to come early if youre grabbing breakfast! Portions are huge and food waa great! We had the chocolate lovers crepes and I got Joannas skillet. Both were good but found that the food is definitely season to taste so feel free to go liberal on the salt.
Decent prices and the service was super nice. Hope to be back again!

A nice example from usual breakfast-brunch-lunch type of establishment.
We were greeted and seated quickly.
The menu is huge, sandwiches, crepes, omelets, frittatas, skillets, eggs, pancakes, Belgian waffles, burgers, etc. You will find something you like.
I got the Joanna's frittata with biscuits, my Mom got the fish sandwich. That's a lot of food! Portions are huge.
The frittata was very tasty, the biscuits were just OK.
The pieces of fish on the sandwich were so big that after cutting off the extra there was enough left to make another sandwich.
Definitely a place I go back to.

In what sense of the word is this slop an omelet? Everything is just scrambled together in a big nasty pile with cheese on top. The hash browns are burnt garbage. Pancakes are drier than a WW2 biscuit.
Klemm's is a million times better.
